What treatments are there for hematometra besides a hysterectomy?

I have a stenosed(no cervical os) cervix and hematometra where my menstruation does not flow out as it should normally. The last two gynes I have seen both wanted to do a hysterectomy. This is NOT an option I am willing to consider and am now afraid to visit a third gynecologist. there is NO opening to dilate so besides hyseterectomy, what else can be done? I have severe pain every month and it ends up being drained via needle puncture to the cul de sac to relieve the pain and pressure.
