War on terrorism is bad apparently?

ok, when Bush declared war on terrorism, even though he went through Congress and the UN everyone called him evil, but a civil war breaks out in libya and Obama bombs it and no one gives a hoot. so why is it that the war on terrorism is so bad? and what do you propose we do about it Obama.
