Does a manual transmission from a 92 BMW 325i fit my 93 318is ?

I think my clutch fork went on my 318is, so I'm going to pull the manual transmission. I found a good one at a junkyard and want to just buy it since its cheap and in good shape but its for a 92 325i. Should this work? I know the 325i is a 6 cyl and my 318is is 4 cyl, so I'm not sure. Looking for someon experts to give me a yes or no. Both cars are 5 speeds. Thanks!
