Guitar Question for experts!?

I am very talented at guitar but I keepp quiting because I cant afford a better guitar. I cant even afford a squire! So I keep thinking this guitar is for beginners and I am past that level. I believe I need a Fender Strat to be good. Tell me about the Dean Evo XM guitar and what you think!
