Hey Myrtle Beach residents, I need your expertise!?

I visit Myrtle Beach every year and I am finally going to take the plunge and buy a townhouse there. What can you guys tell me about Possum Trot at Crescent Beach? I am interested in knowing about the neighborhood and how safe it is. I know it is north of Barefoot Landing and between Atlantic Beach, which isn't so great and Cherry Grove. I am very excited! I plan to move to the beach.
