Welded Wire for fencing in back yard ......?

I am trying to expand my yard for my dogs. They have a 6 foot wooden fence right now. I want to fence in an area behind that and use that door. I've had fencing companies come out and give me estimates, but they are all around 2,000.00 dollars, for about 200 feet. I really don't want to spend that. I saw this welded wire fencing at Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace Hardware that is very affordable. Like 35.00 every fifty feet. It uses these green posts that kind of stake into the ground. Has anyone used this before? Is it dependable? I have pretty strong dogs, but they don't necessarily TRY to get out. But, they do jump on the fence when they bark and stuff.
