How do you file a full year resident (DE for my wife), part yr residents (MD and DE for me) on a joint return?

I am using TurboTax: My wife and I were married in August of 2010. Until then, I lived in Maryland and she lived in Delaware. Married Filing Jointly is giving me the best return so far, but I can't put myself in as part year and her in as full year as its only allowing one. What should we do? How should you do it when filing jointly?
