Boyfriend and dad????!! help ?

Ok, I'm almost 16 my bf and i have been dating for 6 months. I reall do love him, even though some might say im to young to love, i think when u find that person age doesnt matter. Anyway, my bf and I are christians and go to chruch together, and at church my bf was at basketball practice and he went off on this one gguy that tried to get with me, my bf was rlly mad at him for what he did n said to me n stuff... well the bball coach called my dad n told him that my bf went off n was rlly mad n stuff n now my dad doesnt want me to see my bf that much. He thinks he has an anger problem, and brings up this stuff that my bf did when he was 14, like fights and such. I tried to tell my dad that my bf changed! (which he did extremly!) but Dad doesnt wanan hear it.. my mom LOVES my bf and he is ussaly at my house like 4 times a week. im with him all the time. and its going to be soo hard not being with him nearly as much!? what should i do?
